At Face Forward Cosmetics Limited ("Face Forward", "we", "us", or "our") your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website or shop with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We operate from Shop #19A, Orchid Village Plaza, 20 Barbican Road, Kingston, Jamaica.
We never sell or rent your personal information. We collect only what we need to fulfil your orders, answer your questions, and keep you informed if you ask us to.

We only collect information you choose to give us. Depending on how you use the site, this may include:
- Order details — your name, email address, phone number, and (for delivery orders) your delivery address and any notes you provide at checkout.
- Newsletter sign-ups — your first name and email address, if you subscribe to our updates.
- Product reviews — your name (or chosen display name), email address, rating, and comments, if you leave a review.
- Messages — anything you send us through our contact form, by email, by phone, or on social media.
We do not collect or store your credit card, debit card, or banking details. All payments are handled securely by PayPal (see Section 4).
2. Information Stored on Your Device
To make the site work, your browser stores a small amount of information locally on your own device using localStorage:
- The items in your shopping cart, so they're still there if you come back.
- Your preferred display currency (JMD or USD).
- A note of which products you've already reviewed, so we don't ask you twice.
This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To process, prepare, and fulfil your pickup or delivery orders.
- To contact you about an order — for example, to confirm a pickup time or arrange delivery.
- To send you specials, new-product news, and beauty tips, only if you've subscribed. You can opt out at any time.
- To display product reviews and respond to your questions.
- To keep our records, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations.
4. Payment Processing (PayPal)
Online payments are processed by PayPal, which charges in US dollars. When you check out, you are connected directly to PayPal to complete your payment. PayPal collects and handles your payment information under its own privacy policy — we never see or store your card or bank details. PayPal shares with us only what we need to fulfil your order, such as your name and confirmation that payment was received.
5. Service Providers We Rely On
We use a small number of trusted services to run the shop. They process your information only on our behalf, for the purposes described here:
- PayPal — secure payment processing.
- EmailJS — sends us an email alert when you place an order, so we can prepare it.
- Google (Sheets / Apps Script) — securely records newsletter sign-ups and product reviews.
- Google Fonts — loads the website's fonts.
6. How We Protect Your Information
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe and limit access to it. No method of transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, but we work only with reputable providers (such as PayPal) that use industry-standard security and encryption.
7. How Long We Keep It
We keep order information for as long as needed to fulfil your order and meet our business and legal record-keeping needs. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 9).
8. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above (so they can perform their service), with delivery partners when you choose delivery, or where we are required to do so by law.
9. Your Rights
In keeping with Jamaica's Data Protection Act, 2020, you have the right to ask us to:
- Confirm what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
- Correct any information that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Delete your information, or stop us from using it, where appropriate.
- Unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time.

10. Children's Privacy
Our website and online shop are intended for customers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
